George Brecht’s event scores describe actions or activities that exist within the commonality of everyday life, but that as they are intentionally performed, considered, or meditated on, break the continuity and the normality of the everyday, in an almost imperceptible way.
In contrast, this series of original event scores deals with exaggerations or intentional disturbances of everyday actions and situations, aspiring to transcend the imperceptibility of the event into an actual disruption of the quotidian.
