Silere
A suite for rock trio, Silere explores silence as an intentional component of the sound material. The word silere is the Latin root of silence; it means ‘to be silent’ or ‘to be inactive’. This dual meaning inspired the use of silence as both the absence of sound and absence of action. Silere is divided into four movements, each one dealing with the main idea, silence/inactivity, from a different perspective.
